中華民國總統府/The Presidential Office Building

零七年九月二十三日上午. 從中正紀念堂沿著凱達格蘭大道走到這裡-總統府.我沒進去,也不知道可不可以進去參觀.我只知道除了守衛直崗外,還有很多戴著墨鏡及鸭子帽的便衣保衛看守在總統府外.
總統府竣工於1919年, 是台灣最高權力中心. 在日治時期為總督府至到1945年遭到美軍轟炸,部分建築物被炸燬. 戰後重修, 1948年恢復. 隨著1950年總統蔣中正先生進駐之後,此建築物就當然成為名義上的中華民國總統府.
雖經整修.總統府建築仍保持<文藝復興巴洛克式>的莊嚴和簡潔霸氣.建築物的中央塔,角塔,衛塔等大片立面的1:2:3:2:1的節奏和粗面砌築基座與柱式主出入口.混合成了令人震撼的視覺效果.

The Presidential Office Building completed built in year 1919 when the time in japanese colonial period.
The building was the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan at that time. untill year 1945, damaged in Allied bombing during World War II. The building was restored after the war and it became the presidential office in 1950 which was Chiang Kai-shek president moved in.For more details about this building you can refer to Wikipedia

Whatever & Anything

July 12, 2008. I got the drink "Whatever?" and "Anything?" when I went to autocity, Prai for 988 Live Concert. "Whatever?" and "Anything?" are the designated drinks. RM2/each tin I bought. this is a singapore established company and it is available in malaysia now.

In malaysia, i think "Cin Cai" is more often in use instead of "whatever" and "anything". Maybe I can suggest them this name which is comprised by "Cin Cao" + Leng teh + luo han guo...haha..not bad i guess...So, when your friends answer you "Cin Cai" when you offer drinks...see, no need headache just give "Cin Cai" to them.

"Whatever" is a non-carbonated drink comprised by
Ice Lemon Tea + Peach Tea + Jasmine Green Tea + White Grape Tea + Apple Tea + Chrysanthemum Tea.

"Anything" is a carbonated drink comprised by
Cola + Cola with Lemon + Apple Fizzup + Cloudy Lemon + Root Beer.

The Incredible Hulk / 无敌浩克

July 2, 2008. Went to watch The Incredible Hulk with my super junior.
The movie narrated genius scientist Dr. Bruce Banner cures himself to kill gamma-radiotion from his body cells which is cause him turn into the gaint green monster - the Hulk when he is angry, stressed and excited. whilst he seeks a cure to his unique condition, he has to run from military which seeks his capture. However, when he close to a cure, the other duplicate monster has been created - The Abomination. At the time, Banner has to make an agonozing final choice - accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or the creature he could permanently become The Incredible Hulk.
Part of movie captured at Rocinha of Rio de Janeiro, Spain. there is the large poor region of Spain. I can't imagine their living life with so high density and narrow. Below picture is grabbed from wikipedia.

除了故事及拍攝好外,我對取景地點- Rio de Janeiro的貧民區Rocinha極為好奇. 如此壯觀的貧民區, 我很難想像他們的日常生活. 它的擁擠,繁密會否讓人喘不到气?下圖是取自於wikipedia.

食品展销會/ iFoodex 2008, PISA Penang

號稱全馬最大的食品展銷會 iFoodex 2008 來了. 又是讓我免費試吃, 大嚐各式美食的時候了!

iFoodex 食品展销會都在每年的六月或七月份在PISA進行. 此展銷會不只是提供了一個平台給食品商展銷他們的食品,食品商也可在此尋求合作夥伴或代理. 除此之外, 也讓消費者對其食品多一份了解. 展銷會同時, 也有一些烹飪講義及娛兴表演.

對我而言,能免費嚐試不同的食品最為開心. 不論吃的或喝的,格式各樣. 當然不是每一樣的口味都和心意. 哎呀,反正不用錢,嚐嚐無妨! :)

在此同時也有廚師挑戰賽. 挑戰者來自世界各地. 我去的當時正比賽著開胃菜餚(appetizer). 廚師們個展廚技,細心調配. 挑戰者的作品可說是花枝招展,色彩繽紛. 可惜我不是評判,只有眼福沒有口福.可惜可惜!



iFoodex 2008 returned again to penang PISA. Of course I didn't miss a chance to taste many kind of food here since it is free to taste..hehe..

IFoodex is Malaysia's Largest Consumer Food Exhibition. It is an event hold on June or July every year in penang. There is flat for exhibitor to promote their products and also looking for partner to expand their business. At here, your can taste many kind of food whether it is from locals or international.

Besides that, there is Penang Chefs Challenge. Master chefs from around the world competing in here. They competed appetizer when i was there. you can see how creative the chefs crafted their works. However I have no chance to taste on it.

中正紀念堂/Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

零七年九月二十三日晨. 有點遺憾. 由於中正紀念堂正進行維修,小弟只能在外欣賞它的美. 我和旭旺在此地只待一會兒便離去.但值得庆幸的是牌樓上的牌匾題字"大中至正"當時還沒被拆除. 因在陳水扁總統"去蒋化"的政策下,牌匾題字"大中至正"已在同年的十二月七日被除下,由"自由廣場"取而代之.

There was disappointment when I visited CKS Memorial Hall as the renovation work was in progress. So I was no chance to get in the hall. As the mission of nullify CKS having by past-president Chen Sui-Bian, the CKS Memorial Hall has been renamed to National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall and the inscription of the gate also has been changed.
